ABOUT US

Crendon Corinthians Youth Football Club (CCYFC) was formed in July 1999 by a group of parents from Long Crendon who wanted their children to play football for the village club. Since then the club has grown and currently has over 250 boys and girls training with us on Saturday mornings and weeknights across 14 squads, from U6 to U18.

In 2004 the Club was granted FA Charter Standard status. The Charter Standard Scheme is a best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people. As a benchmark for quality, it improves the playing experience for all.

A committee of parents runs the club on a voluntary basis. The training sessions are led by parents who enjoy playing football, many having attended FA coaching courses as part of their commitment to the club. Each age group has a manager, who organises the training sessions and teams for matches, and an administrator who deals with team subs, kit, communication etc.

Crendon Corinthians compete in 4 different leagues:

  • Mixed teams from Under 7 - Under 12 play in the South Bucks Mini Soccer Conference (SBMSC) www.bucksfootball.co.uk

  • The girls teams play in the Bucks Girls Football Leagues

  • Under 13 - under 16 boys teams play in the Wycombe & South Bucks Minor Football League www.football-results.org

  • The Under 18 boys play in the South Bucks Youth League www.sbyl.co.uk

The club ethos is to provide opportunities for all players to enjoy and develop their skills to realise their personal sporting potential.  To underpin this mission the club's objectives are:

  • To encourage the playing of football at all levels.

  • To provide continuous development opportunities for our players, coaches and volunteers.

  • To develop a culture based on respect, best practice, safety and fair play.

  • To encourage parents to participate in the running of the club for the benefit of the players, club and community.

Each season all members of CCYFC must complete and sign a player registration form, and acquaint themselves with the club codes of conduct, found in the club documents section.
